"...Jonathan Christopher’s Tom Collins offered a heartfelt portrayal of love amidst hardship, particularly in the iconic reprise of “I’ll Cover You.”
Mark Gresham, EarRelevant
"Jonathan Christopher brought an appealing warmth and resonant bass to the role of the anarchist professor, Tom. His poignant account of “I’ll Cover You” was heartbreaking, one of this production’s transcendent moments."
Paul Hyde, ARTS ATL
“[The concert] started strong with baritone Jonathan Christopher… Extremely well sung”
John Gilk, Opera Canada
“I want to make special note, however, of Jonathan Christopher's work in a scene where his wife comes back for a few moments and recognizes him. This was the moment that brought me to tears, and that was largely due to Christopher.”

Summer 2024
Hi Ho, the Glamorous Life!
Hope you are keeping cool as the summer sun continues to beat down on us every single day. My electric bill is going to be very high come summer's end...
Speaking of Summer - We had a terrific weekend at Lincoln Center in June performing A LITTLE NIGHT MUSIC in Concert, with the legendary Jonathan Tunick conducting the 53-piece Orchestra of St. Luke's, showcasing his new orchestrations for large ensembles. The cast featured Susan Graham, Marsha Mason, Ron Raines, Cynthia Erivo, Ruthie Ann Miles, and Shuler Hensley to name a few. What a DREAM it was working with them all, Marc Bruni directing and Josh Prince choreographing.
Since we closed our hit production of SWEENEY TODD on Broadway in May, I've been running around the city (and world!) performing in various concerts and shows. I premiered my two new solo shows A JOURNEY TO ME and LYRIQUE on board the Seabourn Ovation's transatlantic crossing, to wonderful reviews from the guests and Entertainment department on board. Readings of new musicals, some recording even(!), events, and concerts from Pennsylvania to Tuscany fill up my calendar through the rest of the summer, with more to be announced soon!
Thank you all for your continued support of my career, especially those of you who came to see SWEENEY, it was truly the opportunity of a lifetime, working with the best of Broadway (including my brother Nicholas!), folk whom I've idolized since I was a tiny little dreamer.
Have a great summer! xo Jonathan
